Job Description: HSE Engineer (H/F) – Le Havre, France

Responsibilities:

• Promote a strong HSE culture within the organization.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and legal requirements.
• Develop, implement, and stabilize HSE administrative procedures.
• Prepare and participate in internal and external HSE audits.
• Support and coach HSE technicians and apprentices;
• Monitor and analyze workplace accidents and occupational illnesses.
• Organize safety training and awareness sessions.
• Provide guidance to managers on HSE communication tools.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role.
• Technical training and professional experience in HSE, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity;
• Expertise in machine directives, maintenance, lifting operations, subcontractor management, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Proven ability to implement safety improvement projects with measurable results.
• Strong stance on safety issues and ability to handle stressful situations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Professional-level English.
