Job Description: HSE Engineer (H/F) – Le Havre, France
Responsibilities:
- Promote a strong HSE culture within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and legal requirements.
- Develop, implement, and stabilize HSE administrative procedures.
- Prepare and participate in internal and external HSE audits.
- Support and coach HSE technicians and apprentices;
- Monitor and analyze workplace accidents and occupational illnesses.
- Organize safety training and awareness sessions.
- Provide guidance to managers on HSE communication tools.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role.
- Technical training and professional experience in HSE, preferably in an industrial environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity;
- Expertise in machine directives, maintenance, lifting operations, subcontractor management, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Proven ability to implement safety improvement projects with measurable results.
- Strong stance on safety issues and ability to handle stressful situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Professional-level English.
