Job Description
Job Title: Intern, Renewable Electrical Engineering (Interconnections & Grid Analysis). Location: Chicago, IL
Responsibilities:
- Conduct power flow analysis for generation & transmission development activities.
- Support engineers with technical analyses related to generation & transmission;
- Review interconnection study reports & prepare technical summaries for team use.
- Assist in developing Excel-based tools for project support;
- Gain hands-on experience with transmission design & interconnection solutions.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor’s degree program, majoring in Electrical Engineering.
- Expected graduation date between December 2025 & Summer 2026;
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without employer visa sponsorship;
- Preferred: GPA of 3.0+ & demonstrated interest in renewable energy.
