(Junior) Field Service Technician

Job Description

Job Title: (Junior) Field Service Technician Generatoren. Location: Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and supervise maintenance activities on industrial generators and auxiliary systems, including electrical system upgrades.
• Perform mechanical and electrical tasks on generators and lead technician teams during projects.
• Manage project phases: preparation, execution, and consolidation, and support project leaders with planning and management.
• Ensure compliance with quality plans, safety regulations, budgets, timelines, and environmental requirements.
• Oversee on-site execution, testing, and improvement or replacement projects for ENGIE's power plants across Europe.

Qualifications:

• MBO degree in Mechanical Engineering, AOT, or a similar field, with a strong interest in generator technology.
• A team player with a hands-on attitude, capable of managing contractors and contributing to technical tasks.
• Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
• Valid driver’s license (B); certifications such as VOL-VCA and experience with industrial installations are a plus.
• Willingness to work weekends and travel internationally (primarily in Europe, occasionally beyond).
