Job Title: Senior Environmental Manager. Location: Philadelphia, PA, US, 19103-3638. Langan provides land development engineering & environmental consulting services to a variety of clients across industries, including renewable energy, healthcare, and large infrastructure programs. Job Responsibilities:
- License & Project Management: Hold and maintain an LSRP License; manage environmental projects, ensuring regulatory compliance in reporting & budgeting.
- Business Development: Develop new business through industry connections & foster repeat business by delivering exceptional client service.
- Team Leadership: Supervise environmental staff, providing performance feedback, mentorship, and conducting review meetings.
- Technical Focus: Lead investigations and remediation, especially for PFAS & other emerging contaminants, applying high standards in technical accuracy and client service.
- Report Preparation: Prepare & modify project reports, specifications, plans, and designs.
- Analysis & Budgeting: Perform complex analyses for engineering projects; monitor project budgets, schedules, and deadlines.
- Problem Solving: Apply standard practices to unusual situations and recognize when to consult for problem resolution.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as needed for project success.
Requirements:
- Licensing & Education: NJ Licensed Site Remediation Professional’s license; Professional Engineer or Geologist certification a plus; Bachelor’s in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field, with a Master’s preferred.
- Experience: 15+ years in remediation, environmental assessments, investigation, and remediation technologies.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of NJDEP, PADEP, RCRA, PFAS regulations, and environmental software like MS Word & Excel; AutoCAD or GIS experience is advantageous.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, detail-oriented analytical skills, judgment, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
