Lead Performance Analyst

Job Description

Join our team to analyze and optimize the performance of operating assets (onshore wind, solar, battery storage) in the Americas region. Utilize advanced data management and analysis techniques to drive performance improvements and ensure accurate energy and revenue gains.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop tools for performance analysis through effective data management.

Conduct data analysis, including visualizations, data blending, and validations.

Design and implement indices, metrics, and data models to improve performance.

Perform complex statistical analyses, modeling, and testing to deliver actionable insights.

Analyze statistical and machine learning models to address performance shortcomings.

Detect and analyze anomalies in generator temperatures, wind speed readings, production losses, and downtime.

Validate retrofits from technical and financial perspectives to assess investment viability.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related field with 3 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience.

Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Python, R, DAX, Databricks, Power BI Paginated Report Builder, and DevOps.

Experience in U.S. electricity markets, wind farm operations, performance calculations, and high-frequency time series data analysis.
