Lead - Performance & RPDC (Wind & Solar)

Job Description

Job Title: Lead - Performance Monitoring, Data Analytics & Support RPDC (Wind & Solar). Location: India. As the Lead - Performance Monitoring, Data Analytics & Support RPDC, you will oversee the performance and operations of solar assets, manage risks, and handle all management reporting. Your role will include optimizing solar plant performance, leading a team, and collaborating with top management. You will also handle SCADA configuration, analyze critical performance parameters, and respond to stakeholder queries.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance & Operations Oversight:

  - Monitor and enhance the performance of solar assets.

  - Manage risks and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Reporting:

  - Handle internal and external management reporting.

  - Generate and analyze daily reports including Generation Report, LPF Report, and others.

Digital Projects:

  - Act as a business translator for digital projects.

  - Track implementation and report on value achievements.

Data Ownership:

  - Serve as the single source of asset-related data for all stakeholders.

  - Provide routine and non-routine inputs to improve asset performance.

Team Management:

  - Lead and manage a team of monitoring and control professionals.

  - Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.

SCADA Configuration:

  - Configure and optimize SCADA systems for effective monitoring and control.

Stakeholder Interaction:

  - Address queries regarding the operation and performance of renewable assets.

Critical Parameter Analysis:

  - Analyze parameters affecting solar plants and wind turbines.

  - Develop strategies to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Reports & Analysis:

  - Prepare detailed reports on LPF, PLF trends, and major breakdowns.

  - Monitor trends and optimize generation based on analytical insights.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • Experience: 6 to 10 years in monitoring and controlling renewable energy assets.
  • Expertise in SCADA configuration and operation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
