Lead Specialist Offshore Marine Procurement

Transport Procurement manages all transport-related matters, encompassing vessels, roads, trucking, and aviation. This includes standard transport and project-specific transport for both onshore and offshore projects.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate Global Offshore Transport Procurement Team: Lead and coordinate activities related to wind turbine installation vessels, service jack-up vessels, (C)SOVs, and CTVs.

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute commodity strategies aligned with Vestas' objectives for jack-up vessels, service operation vessels, crew transfer vessels, and helicopters.

Supplier Relationship Management: Identify, engage, and manage relationships with suppliers; negotiate and finalize contracts.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Regional Procurement Teams and key business functions (Sales, Construction, Service, Legal) to align procurement needs and specifications across the value chain.

Coordinate Global Offshore Procurement Team: Ensure cohesive efforts and communication within the global offshore procurement team.

Qualifications:

Experience with marine vessels and helicopters in offshore wind farm construction and service phases.

Prior procurement experience, preferably within the offshore wind farm industry.

Strategic thinker with strong negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.

Work Location: Aarhus, Denmark; alternatively, Copenhagen or Hamburg, Germany.
