Job Description

Job Title: Manager, Renewable Electrical Engineering. Location: United States. As a Manager, Renewable Electrical Engineering, you'll oversee junior engineers and lead the development of advanced onshore renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and energy storage. You'll guide the engineering team in creating conceptual designs and finalizing detailed plans for inverter-based wind and solar generators.

Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Supervise up to 2-3 junior engineers, providing guidance on design, construction, and project implementation.
• Project Specifications: Manage construction, engineering, and equipment specifications for projects.
• Design Review: Analyze electrical energy calculations and support new project development.
• Coordination: Work with operations engineering and maintain industry knowledge.
• Design Review: Evaluate conceptual designs and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Study Management: Define scope and review results of electrical system studies.
• Scheduling: Track design schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
• Equipment Purchasing: Support equipment procurement and manage suppliers.
• Progress Monitoring: Track construction progress and resolve field issues.
• Meetings: Attend on-site meetings and coordinate with construction contractors and utilities.

Qualifications:

• Education: BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 4+ years in electrical engineering, including managing teams and HV/MV infrastructure.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio; strong communication skills.
• Travel: Up to 25%.
• Work Eligibility: Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Advanced Degree: Master’s or Professional Engineering license.
• Experience: Multi-disciplined engineering team management and HV/MV electrical systems in renewable energy.
• Practical Experience: Construction of HV electrical systems and renewable energy infrastructure.
