Manager, Stakeholder Relations

Job Description

As the Manager of Stakeholder Relations, you'll manage communications with stakeholders, including First Nations, and foster strong community connections for large-scale wind, solar, and storage projects in Quebec and the Atlantic region. Your role spans from environmental development to post-construction monitoring.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead communication with stakeholders and First Nations to integrate projects smoothly into their environment.
  • Work with development, engineering, and project management teams to address community concerns proactively.
  • Oversee environmental studies and maintain relationships with authorities.
  • Monitor project sites and uphold Invenergy’s reputation as a key renewable energy partner.
  • Support all project development aspects as needed.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5+ years in renewable energies, environment, or stakeholder management.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Willingness to travel 25%-50% of the time, including occasional trips to the U.S.
  • Strong solution-seeking, teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience leading outside contractors.
