Job Title: Manufacturing Sector Leader - Europe. Location: UK-Manchester | ID: 2024-2924 | Category: Remediation | Type: Full-Time, Remote (considered). Additional Locations: UK-Delph, UK-Bristol. Geosyntec is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Sector Leader to expand our contaminated site assessment, remediation, and environmental management practices in Europe. This role involves business development, client management, and project leadership across various industries, with a particular focus on the Manufacturing sector. Candidates should have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for business and technical expansion in Geosyntec’s European market. Ideal candidates are based near our Manchester, Delph, or Bristol offices, with the option of remote work for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the business development strategy for Geosyntec's European Manufacturing sector.
• Develop new client relationships, manage existing accounts, and lead proposal preparation.
• Oversee investigation and remediation projects, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards.
• Mentor junior staff, manage subcontractors, and coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Develop work plans, conduct data evaluations, and author technical reports on contaminated site assessments and remediation.
• Prepare for and attend client and regulatory meetings to discuss project progress and findings.

Education and Licensure:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, or related field (required).
• Advanced degree in the same field (preferred).
• Professional certification (e.g., Chartered status) (preferred).

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of environmental consulting experience (required).
• Proven success in developing and managing manufacturing sector clients (required).
• Expertise in soil and groundwater remediation regulations (required).
• Strong leadership and ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams (required).
• OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and relevant health and safety certifications (preferred).
• Valid UK driver’s license and clean driving record (required).
