Job Title: Marine Ecology Lead. Location: Glasgow, GBR (Hybrid Work Option)
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical advice on marine ecological and marine consenting matters.
- Lead the preparation of environmental impact assessments (EIA) & associated documents (HRA, MCZ, WFD).
- Oversee the quality of deliverables, ensuring adherence to high standards & compliance with quality management procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance environmental outcomes.
- Drive business development by preparing proposals, engaging in client presentations & managing client relationships.
- Manage projects, including budgets, resources, & subcontractors.
- Mentor & support the development of team members.
Qualifications:
- Extensive expertise in marine ecology with experience in preparing and reviewing technical chapters & impact assessments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK marine consenting & licensing regimes.
- Proven ability to lead teams, mentor junior members, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Demonstrated experience in business development & project management.
