Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician. Location: Doncaster, United Kingdom.  You will manage the asset management of plant & equipment at Hatfield Moor Gas Storage Facility, ensuring compliance with COMAH regulations. Deliver cost-effective maintenance solutions using both in-house resources & external service providers.

Responsibilities:  

• Implement technical risk management for plant status, modifications, & aging.
• Manage major contracts for maintenance requirements & create technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PSSR, COMAH, LOLER, etc.).
• Provide mechanical maintenance support during plant overhauls & daily operations.
• Act as the focal point for any mechanical subcontract scopes.

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience in mechanical maintenance at a COMAH facility or equivalent.
• HNC level education in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of current legislation & a strong commercial background.
• Valid driving license required.
