Applications, Controls & Electrical (ACE) is developing the brain of the turbine and Control Hardware is the nervous system of the turbine that ensure control and communication of the turbines and parks.
Responsibilities
- One point of contact for Service and Maintenance in Control Hardware
- Operational readiness for Control Hardware regarding service and maintenance in the value chain
- Service and maintenance roadmaps for Control Hardware
- Ensuring service and maintenance improvements for Control Hardware
Qualifications
- Master's / Bachelor's in Electrical / Mechanical / Structural / Similar specialization
- Previous experience within service and maintenance
- Minimum 3 years' experience with a larger organization dealing with complex products
- Design and development of innovative electrical and mechanical systems
- Cost management experience is desirable
- Good business and value chain understanding
- Knowledge of system engineering tools like DFMEA, HSE assessments, requirement specifications etc

- Quickly pick up on the array of software tools and processes we currently use in our workflow
- Can develop innovative solutions to the questions we face when performing analyses, up to and including development or introduction of new tools or processes into our workflow
- Have a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems to
- Model new and change existing CAD models
- Model new and change existing electrical models
- Efficiently communicate with engineering teams
- Additionally, we expect that you
- Succeed as part of a team and that it comes naturally for you to collaborate and share knowledge
- Have the patience to listen to, understand and respect your colleagues
- Are committed to encouraging the innovative in Wind Turbine technology
- Like to work with complex engineering problems and have a creative approach to new opportunities
- Take pride in initiating and coordinating projects through a large organization
- Are enthusiastic, result-oriented and have a good sense of responsibility
- Have good communication skills and are fluent in English (speaking and writing)
- Have a good sense of humor
- It is an added value if you have
- Experience with Creo and PDM Link and Jira
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g. Scrum)
- Project Management or business education/experience
- Experience within large corporate organizations
