Offshore Commissioning Technician

Job Title: Offshore Commissioning Technician. Job Type: Full-time, onsite with 100% travel. Responsibilities:

• Perform, supervise, and ensure safety during all phases of wind turbine installation.
• Prepare tools, equipment, and components for loadout and installation; close punch lists during installation.
• Maintain accurate logbooks, documentation, and reports.
• Train new colleagues and supervise 3rd-party employees.
• Follow defined workflows, work instructions, and safety standards.
• Act as a signaler per work instructions, checklists, and lift plans.
• Lead small teams and maintain required training for role responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; a degree in a technical discipline (preferred).
• Minimum 2+ years of commissioning experience, preferably in wind turbine installation.
• Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems and isolation procedures (preferred).
• Proven ability to work at heights, adverse weather conditions, and physical fitness for climbing and physical tasks.
• IT literacy and ability to manage digital tools effectively.
• Willingness to travel 100% within the U.S., Canada, and occasionally internationally.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Experience: 3+ years in a directly related field, with experience in multinational service organizations.
