Environmental & Permitting Graduate

Job Description

Our Graduate Program consists of three rotations, where you’ll solve business challenges, manage your own assignments, & be involved in daily decision-making processes. You’ll join the North America permitting team, actively participating in offshore wind development approvals. This involves working with top scientists on key issues like avian species, marine mammals, & cultural resources. Future rotations will deepen your expertise in regulatory, scientific, & stakeholder requirements for large renewable infrastructure projects. You’ll also connect with global teams, contributing to biodiversity ambitions & solving climate and habitat crises. One rotation could be at our headquarters in Denmark, collaborating with our global Permitting and Consents Center of Excellence.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the North America Permitting, Environmental, & Marine Affairs Team.
  • Aid project teams in environmental & regulatory reviews & project permitting.
  • Lead special projects to address environmental & social concerns.
  • Provide insights into stakeholder relationships with agencies, eNGOs, universities, etc.
  • Contribute to development, compliance, & commercial activities, voicing ideas.

Requirements for Success:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field by 2nd September 2025 (environmental policy, biology, ecology, engineering, marine affairs, law, etc.).
  • A maximum of 1 year of relevant work experience after a Master's or 1-2 years after a Bachelor's by 2nd September 2025.
  • Strong knowledge of US environmental regulations.
  • Passionate about contributing to renewable energy development in North America.
  • Thrives in a global, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent English communication skills & proficiency with Microsoft tools, statistical programs, & data visualization software.
