Job Description

Job Title: Sr. Engineer/Deputy Manager – Electrical (Renewable Energy). Location: Gurgaon, India.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the engineering design and implementation of renewable energy projects, specifically in Solar and Wind power.
• Support pre-bid engineering, Owners Engineering (reviewing design documents), and detailed engineering design.
• Develop general layout arrangements, including cable routing, earthing, lightning protection, lighting, and more for PV plants.
• Perform electrical system studies such as short circuit analysis, load flow, and relay coordination.
• Conduct feasibility studies and resource assessment for Solar PV projects, including energy yield assessments using tools like PV SYST and SAM.
• Prepare techno-commercial reports and project documentation in line with relevant standards (IS, IEC, IEEE, etc.).
• Ensure all engineering designs comply with international standards and government regulations (CEA, CERC, MNRE).
• Collaborate with international teams and manage multiple projects, offering technical expertise on various renewable energy solutions, including hybrid and storage projects.
• Travel to project sites for fieldwork and site evaluations.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in the renewable energy sector.

Qualifications:

• Essential:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, with specific expertise in solar and wind power projects.
• Preferred:
  • Master’s Degree in Energy Studies, Renewable Energy, or related fields.
  • Experience with energy yield simulation software like PV SYST or SAM.
  • Knowledge of wind power projects and storage technologies.
