Position: Planning Lead (UK and IE)

We are seeking a Planning Lead for the UK and Ireland to oversee the yearly maintenance schedule for all new and existing sites within the portfolio in the Sub-region. This role involves consolidating maintenance schedules across hubs, coordinating with procurement for long-term strategies with 3rd party suppliers, and supporting the Operational Site team for daily activities and coverage during absences. You will also plan and align Hub retrofit campaigns with Hub Operations Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead remote teams across the region to ensure consistency in processes and task delivery.

Mentor, coach, and develop team members within a matrixed organization to foster best practices and consistent approaches.

Ensure compliance with local legislations/requirements for managing people across the Sub-region.

Participate in the North Europe and Middle East - Onshore Planning Leadership team and attend regular meetings.

Share and implement best practices from other Sub-regions with the Leadership team.

Implement and maintain a new SGRE Planning tool in the Sub-region and provide necessary training for responsible planners.

Create and communicate strategic maintenance plans for annual service, Turbine Mounted Safety Equipment (TMSE), High Voltage (HV), etc., to meet demand across the portfolio.

Consolidate and maintain a long-term maintenance plan for 1-3 years ahead.

Support strategic resource management to create the best mix of internal and external resources for the full portfolio within the Sub-region.

Ensure all external resource demands are forecasted and available with the right qualifications to meet contractual obligations.

Ensure documentation and checklists are available on the provided platform.

Maintain an overview and status of Safety Alert / Safety Awareness and Quality Alert / Quality Awareness (SA/SAW – QA/QAW) at the site level and support with demand planning for such tasks.

Qualifications:

Passion for renewable energy and a commitment to leading the change.

Experience working in a complex, large environment interfacing with multiple stakeholders.

Experience within a resource/planning function and excellent stakeholder management skills (internal and external).

Experience using Systems Applications and Products (SAP).

Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to handle multiple conflicting priorities.

Ability to work under pressure and respond to urgent requirements.

Basic understanding of the wind industry.
