Job Description
Job Title: Procurement Sourcing Specialist – Melbourne, Australia
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire procurement process, from sourcing to contract execution, ensuring alignment with project budget, schedule, & quality standards.
- Issue RFQs, coordinate technical evaluations, & conduct commercial assessments for purchasing goods & services.
- Lead purchase order negotiations, collaborating with Project Managers to finalize terms, scope, pricing, & delivery schedules.
- Oversee procurement budgets, control costs, & ensure timely delivery of high-quality goods & services;
- Identify & mitigate commercial risks while optimizing procurement opportunities;
- Develop & maintain procurement plans, registers, & documentation for project tracking.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies & procedures across international operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in a multinational company, preferably in engineering, construction, or heavy manufacturing.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale procurement projects with minimal supervision;
- Strong commercial acumen with negotiation & stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written & verbal communication abilities, ensuring effective collaboration at all levels.
