Project Controls Director

Job Description

Job Title: Project Controls Director for Hornsea 4 Offshore Wind Farm Project. Imagine a future where you actively contribute to the green transition by leading and integrating project controls disciplines on the Hornsea 4 offshore wind farm project.

Join us in this role where you’ll deliver and lead the implementation of a world-class integrated project controls and risk management framework, enabling successful execution of the Hornsea 4 project, one of the world’s largest offshore wind farms being developed in the North Sea.

Requirements:

  • Establishing an integrated controls framework to meet the specific project requirements, including scope, schedule, risk, change, cost, information management, and project coordination disciplines.
  • Implementing the necessary project controls processes and tools in the project and with contractors, ensuring that adequate training and awareness sessions are provided.
  • Coordinating and managing the regular reporting of project progress and ad-hoc analysis allowing for effective monitoring, forecasting, and execution of the project.
  • Facilitating scenario analysis and supporting the project management team in decision-making.
  • Supporting and managing the Project Controls & Risk Management team in their day-to-day activities and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of ten years’ experience in a leading project management or project controls role.
  • Experience in leading a team of specialists within project management and risk.
  • Proficient in relevant project controls & risk management tools and techniques, such as scheduling, HR planning, and risk and change management.
  • Proven experience of project controlling and management on large infrastructure projects.
  • Leadership skills with proactive and cooperative ways of working with team members and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor your approach and present complex information to broad audiences.
