Job Description

Join our Project Development Solar team to lead and expand solar projects across the UK, shaping the future of energy transition. We handle projects ranging from small 50MW to large 740-1000MW, delivering them from consent to integration within our portfolio. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is key, as is leveraging best practices to drive project success.

Your Role:

• Secure and develop a pipeline of solar energy projects in the UK.
• Collaborate with project originators, grid engineers, and GIS teams to advance projects from origination to development.
• Work with commercial and M&A teams to explore market opportunities for development acquisitions.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful project execution.
• Navigate the UK planning landscape for energy projects.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in project development, energy projects, or consultancy.
• Strong project management skills, self-motivation, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to thrive in uncertain environments while focusing on goals.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and confidence.
• Flexibility to adapt in dynamic energy project development settings.
