Job Title: Project Director - Environment. Location: Dublin, IRL. At AECOM, we’re delivering a better world. Responsibilities:
- Actively participates in all Project Reviews (including Tier 1 reviews, Healthy Start Reviews, and Technical Approach Reviews) and ensures compliance with Business Policy and Procedures, the Project Plan, and Client Contract.
- Provides advice to the Project Manager (PM), particularly on financial impacts or potential issues, and supports the PM in developing a project recovery plan if required.
- Ensures that any financial issues or potential risks are escalated to the P&L Manager, Operations, and Finance leads as they are identified.
- Confirms that all necessary Project Safety Plans / Construction Phase Plans, Risk Assessment Method Statements, and Safety, Health and Environment (SH&E) Plans are established, reviewed, and approved before commencing site work.
- Drives consistent Project Manager (PM) practices and procedures in alignment with AECOM PM requirements and the Project Delivery System (PDS).
- Confirms that the Technical Approach Review is planned and performed by appropriate technical leads.
Qualifications:
- Project Director experience/qualification with competence in project financial and quality controls, contract management, and team management in the project environment.
- Excellent, pragmatic knowledge of the application of scheduling and programming.
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Ability to prepare high-quality professional presentations, reports, and proposals/tenders.
- Reasonable flexibility and willingness to travel to site locations as needed.
