Job Description

The successful candidate will be a dynamic, self-directed professional with project management experience in consulting or energy & sustainability. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for meeting client objectives, managing budgets, and ensuring high-quality execution. Experience in leading internal project teams and coordinating multi-disciplinary tasks is required.

Responsibilities:

Lead project management activities ensuring scope, budget, and schedule adherence.

Manage all phases of energy, decarbonization, and sustainability projects.

Strong knowledge of power grid and electric utilities in New York, New Jersey, and eastern states.

Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to meet project objectives and client expectations.

Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Identify opportunities for additional scopes or projects with clients.

Develop strategy, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage project finances.

Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, finance, and quality policies.

Qualifications:

BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.

6 years of experience managing energy infrastructure projects.

Experience in delivering complex projects on schedule and within budget.

Experience in business development and proposal writing.

Preferred: Experience in grid modernization, renewable energy, utility programs, or sustainability planning.

Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Advanced degree and relevant certifications (PMP, CEM, LEED AP) are a plus.

Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.

Additional Info: Relocation not available. Sponsorship available. Compensation: $135,000 - $180,000 based on location & qualifications.
