Project Manager - Water Industry

Job Description

Job Title: Remote Project Manager - Water Industry. Location: Remote (U.S. - Chicago, Illinois)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate field teams for the mobilization of operational water treatment projects.
• Develop a list of deliverables and manage the operational startup phase of water treatment systems.
• Create, organize, and ensure the development of maintenance plans, SOPs, and other documentation.
• Oversee project milestones, ensuring resources and deadlines are efficiently aligned;
• Cultivate a culture of project management excellence within the Expert Operations Center of Excellence (COE).
• Collaborate with regional teams, sales, and commercial engineering to understand project pipelines and support proposal generation.
• Support ongoing process improvement and identify gaps in operational start-up procedures.
• Mentor and train junior staff, providing feedback and guidance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project management and budget planning.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, including mentoring and coaching.
• Experience in water treatment or similar environmental sectors;
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Skills & Abilities:

• Process improvement and change management experience.
• Ability to solve both technical and situational problems.
• Proficiency in tools like Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
• Energetic and positive attitude with excellent multitasking abilities.
