Project QHSE Manager

Job Description

You’ll join the Generation Surveillance & Control Centre (GSCC) where you, alongside your colleagues, will ensure the safe operation and regulatory compliance of our assets, maximizing their availability. You’ll oversee generation and transmission assets across the UK and Europe, with new projects being developed in the US and APAC. Responsibilities:

Using diagnostic tools, processes, and control systems to promptly respond to various events affecting assets under GSCC control.

Providing expert advice on WTG operations and BOP alarm management, diagnosing issues and escalating to diagnostics specialists when necessary.

Handling, assessing, and deploying proactive condition monitoring model events to predict potential failures before they occur.

Managing control point services such as regulating power plant output, intertripping services, REMITs/ETRs, trading point services, and condition reporting.

Upholding our company’s QHSE standards, cyber security rules, and compliance parameters.

To excel in this role, you should have:

Experience in power generation, technical system engineering, troubleshooting, or a control room environment.

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in using SCADA for developing and deploying remote diagnostic processes.

Capability to work in a 24/7 shift environment with our dedicated team of operators.

Proactive attitude towards identifying and implementing improvement initiatives, and sharing best practices within the department.

Strong communication skills, capable of managing multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.
