Job Description

Job Title: Quality and EHS Analyst II. Location: Houston, Texas, USA (Domestic travel up to 40%)

Responsibilities:

• Develop annual preventative maintenance plans and checklists for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) assets, performing in-progress audits to ensure compliance.
• Plan and conduct preventative maintenance checks for all operational cycles.
• Create and update Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, and other HSE policies for operational safety.
• Develop training schedules and competency requirements for the field service team, ensuring effective internal training programs.
• Conduct safety and quality audits on operational sites and implement corrective actions to enhance performance.
• Support QA inspections for new sites and equipment, including substations, battery energy storage systems, and power conversion systems.
• Apply insights from existing fleet operations to improve QA processes for new installations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma or technical certificate.
• At least two years of operations experience in power plants (Wind, Solar, or BESS experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of electrical equipment used in BESS (e.g., PCS, batteries, transformers).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA, UL, NETA standards.
• Understanding of asset preventative maintenance requirements in power generation.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word), Project Management systems.
