Job: Regional Sales Manager, Solar PV Modules. Location: Remote (Alberta, Canada). We are looking for a technically skilled Sales Manager to develop and grow our business in Alberta, Canada. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, driving sales, and establishing Canadian Solar as a market leader in the region. This role involves significant travel (up to 50%) within the designated territory.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, qualify, and contact new business leads for PV module sales.
• Build and maintain relationships with solar EPCs, installers, project developers, and large PV distributors.
• Travel within the sales territory to engage with customers and understand their needs.
• Use data to track progress and meet/exceed KPIs related to business growth and sales volume.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closing.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and planning teams to forecast revenue and review prospects.
• Gather and share market and competitive data with the team.
• Represent Canadian Solar at trade shows and conferences.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of B2B experience selling PV modules or 5 years selling balance of system components.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the year.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and CRM tools like Salesforce.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in a related field is a plus.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Preferred

• Independent sales approach with problem-solving skills.
• Solar project experience and negotiation of large supply contracts preferred.
