Team Lead Quality

Job Description

Job Title: Team Lead - Quality (Module) AGM. Location: IN. ReNew, founded in 2011, is one of the largest renewable energy companies globally, specializing in wind & solar energy projects. It’s listed on Nasdaq (RNW) & has played a crucial role in reducing carbon emissions & providing clean energy across India.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor & review all levels of Quality Assurance (QA) & Control: Incoming Quality Control, In Process Quality Control, and Final QA of solar PV modules.
• Prepare MIS reports & maintain ISO documentation (ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001).
• Inspect visual, electrical, & final quality parameters of solar panels.
• Drive process improvements to reduce rework & rejections.
• Implement quality standards & tools, including product & process audits.
• Define quality test standards (e.g., Sun simulator, cell tests), continuously upgrading in line with best practices.
• Conduct root cause analysis from quality reports, implementing solutions.
• Develop feedback mechanisms for continuous service improvement.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality policies, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee quality audits & follow-up on feedback where necessary.
• Manage company’s ISO certifications (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001).
• Train teams on TQM tools: 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in solar PV module quality assurance.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, TQM tools, and process improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving & leadership skills.
