Renewable Development Manager

Job Description

As Manager, Renewable Development in our Denver office, you will oversee utility-scale wind and solar projects across the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage wind and/or solar projects in the Midwest (MISO region).
  • Lead project development from early to late stages.
  • Align projects with company strategy and initiatives.
  • Identify development prospects and secure site control.
  • Coordinate with landowners and manage permits.
  • Represent Invenergy with stakeholders and oversee project design.
  • Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and interconnection activities.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5+ years in renewable energy or related fields.
  • Ability to manage project development strategically.
  • Strong organizational, networking, leadership, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
  • Familiarity with solar and/or wind project development.
  • Business or engineering background; Master's or MBA is advantageous.
  • Experience in environment, permitting, or land development.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
