Repair Center Technician

Job Description

Job Title: Repair Center Technician 1. Location: US-Fairless Hills, PA.  

Responsibilities:

  • Plans and executes assigned own repair projects.
  • Communicates and cooperates with customer service or customers directly to identify malfunctions.
  • Analyzes technical problems with the product, and completes mechanical and/or electrical repairs and work orders.
  • Executes ramp up, set up, and start procedures in order to test products, machines, and equipment to ensure appropriate functionality.
  • Contributes to installation projects on-site, and supports accountable Industrial Engineers.
  • Supports maintenance of technical documentation of processes and equipment.
  • May advise junior staff technically.
  • Receives failed products from the field prior to starting repairs.
  • Supports inventory organization and serialization prior to and after repair processes.
  • Follows written processes to repair products, quality testing of repairs, and repackaging of finalized goods prior to releasing them to Services for availability.
  • Supports preparing external repair shipments to go to vendors throughout the globe.

Skills and Experience:

  • Driving is an essential function of the job; applicants must have a valid driver’s license at the time of application with an acceptable driving record. Employees must maintain a valid license and acceptable driving record and may be subject to periodic DMV checks of their license.
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a mechanical, electrical, or industrial field.
  • Flexible travel schedule.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must pass pre-hire background drug screening.
  • Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Qualified applicants will not require employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.
  • Certification from a Renewable Energy or Wind Technical Program.
  • Hands-on work experience as a Wind Technician on a Wind Farm.
  • General Electrical or Mechanical training or certification(s).
