Senior Analyst, PARA

Job Description

Position: Project Accounting Reporting Analyst (PARA) at Chandigarh. Purpose: Assist the Deputy Manager with financial reporting and project accounting tasks, including month-end close activities.

Responsibilities:

• Support month-end closing activities.
• Review financial reports, analyze general ledgers, and drill down cost details.
• Compile revenue schedules and record unbilled revenue.
• Prepare cost schedules for monthly project costing.
• Record journal entries in the ERP system as per approved schedules for revenue and costs.
• Maintain schedules for sales reserves, deferred revenue, amortization, etc.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations through detailed analysis.
• Assist in FLUX analysis preparation.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory reporting/compliance.
• Contribute to financial report preparation in line with corporate guidelines.
• Help automate processes and support the team.
• Assist in implementing financial standards.
• Perform additional tasks as required by management.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Professional/master’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of finance and accounting experience.
• Knowledge of cost accounting principles.
• Understanding of financial modeling concepts.
• Ability to work shifts as required.

Desired: Working knowledge of ERP systems. International experience is a plus.
