Senior Business Analyst

Job Description

At the heart of the Planning and Economics team, this role plays a central part in achieving team goals, overseeing various corporate-related workstreams. Situated in our London office, it collaborates closely with the Head of Planning and Economics and offers support to other executives as needed.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and enhance NEO’s corporate financial model for comprehensive business analysis, collaborating with different departments.

Aid in Plan Cycle, Budget, and forecast procedures alongside the extended team.

Conduct detailed analysis, articulating changes and outcomes effectively.

Conduct economic assessments for diverse projects, ranging from incremental wells to M&A transactions.

Contribute to special projects such as improvement initiatives, financing valuations, debt-to-equity analysis, tax optimization, and hedging analysis.

Assist senior executives with ad-hoc projects, analyses, and presentations.

Key Skills and Experience:

Essential experience in corporate modeling.

Proficiency to advanced skills in Excel and competent in PowerPoint.

Proficient in problem-solving through analysis and model interpretation.

Beneficial understanding of the E&P upstream Value Chain and E&P Company profitability.

Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.

Strong communication skills, adept at conveying information and fostering idea exchange.

Innovative thinker with the capability to devise strategies to address challenges.

Organized and meticulous approach to work with keen attention to detail.

Education and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
