Senior Cable Specialist

Job Description

Job Title: Senior Cable Specialist. Location: Denmark, United Kingdom (Gentofte, London, Grimsby, Barrow-in-Furness)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sites to resolve daily operational issues related to array & export cables.
• Provide technical support for major cable failures, minimizing business impact through troubleshooting & root cause analysis.
• Support asset projects with operation & maintenance-focused input on cable specifications, maintainability, & spare parts management.
• Ensure cable failure preparedness by managing spare parts & overseeing repair contract technical aspects;
• Develop & enhance preventive maintenance plans for array & export cables;
• Document & track issues using the Active Risk Management tool.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in array & export cable operation & maintenance.
• Strong understanding of electrical components within cable systems.
• Familiarity with offshore wind industry (preferred);
• Knowledge of cable monitoring technologies.
• Fluent in English.
