Job Opportunity: Senior Energy Advisor, Renewables

As a Senior Energy Advisor (SRA), you'll lead client engagements across various scopes such as GHG emission reduction strategy development, renewable product evaluation, risk analysis, transaction solicitation management, and contract negotiation. This role requires leading client meetings, especially with senior executives, and delivering high-quality, timely information. You'll apply expertise in wholesale power markets, emission reduction frameworks, renewable project economics, and transaction negotiations.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver presentations to advise clients on renewable procurement strategy and execution.

Lead client discussions to align stakeholders and shape strategies based on goals and constraints.

Demonstrate expertise in market, regulatory, and renewable transactions during client engagements.

Stay updated on sustainability solutions and their reception by organizations (SBTi, RE100, CDP, etc.).

Manage procurement of renewable supply and environmental commodities, including sourcing events and proposal analysis.

Build and maintain relationships with renewable project developers and environmental commodity sellers.

Support business development by assessing opportunities, providing expert knowledge, and consulting on pricing.

Train and develop colleagues.

Who You Are:

Proficient with Excel and other analytical tools.

Strong understanding of energy markets, regulatory policy, and the competitive environment.

Self-starter with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

B.S. or B.A. in business, finance, communications, economics, or a related field.

10+ years of professional experience.

Experience in a customer-facing role.

Prior experience in deregulated energy markets.
