Senior Engineer - Transmission Civil/Structure Design

Job Description

Position Title - Senior Engineer
Experience- 3-5 years
Qualification- Degree in Civil Engineering
Location- Gurugram

Roles and Responsibilities

Review of all civil and structural drawings and design calculations for substations and Transmission Lines.
Detailed analysis and design of Substation Gantry structures (Tower & beams) using STAAD Pro.
Detailed analysis and design of Transmission line towers using STAAD Pro or PLS-Tower.
Design of foundations for Transmission line.
Design of outdoor switchyard foundations such as tower foundation, transformer foundation, equipment foundations, bus duct supports etc.
Analysis and design of control room building, guard house, car parking, boundary wall, roads, pump house etc.
Design of DG foundation, cable trench, drains, roads, grade slab, boundary wall, retaining wall etc.
Maintaining good working relationships with OEM’s, material suppliers, contractors, and any others that affect the quality, schedule and cost of projects.
Draw up plans, proposals and budgets for new projects/extensions of projects in conjunction with the relevant team, and financial staff.
Creating Purchase requisition in SAP, Coordinate with internal & external stakeholders to book invoice of vendor.
Coordinating and facilitating the various support functionalities like land, legal, finance, installation and the operations team in their discharge of duties.
Maintaining department KPI & budgets sheets.
Coordination and Support to Site O & M team for issues pertaining to eBOP, predictive & preventive maintenance and condition monitoring.
Knowledge of design & drawing tools-AutoCAD, Google earth, STAAD.Pro, PLS-tower etc.

Skills

BE/B Tech in civil engineering from recognized institution like NIT/Equivalent
