Job Description

Job Title: Senior Financial Advisor AIFA (m/w/d). Location: Berlin, Germany

Responsibilities:

• Develop and provide decision-making templates and financial analyses for investment projects, including M&As, greenfields, acquisitions, divestments, restructurings, and financings.
• Create project models aligned with AIFA best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant investment policies.
• Calculate and assess the balance sheet impact of investment decisions (e.g., net debt, COI, ROCE, net profit, capital gains).
• Conduct annual impairment tests and ad-hoc cross-sectional studies.
• Negotiate with stakeholders such as banks, advisors, financial institutions, and investment funds.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Corporate Finance, Treasury, Insurance, and Competence Centers (IFRS, Tax, and Legal).

Qualifications:

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in similar roles within banking, investments, and/or the energy sector.
• In-depth knowledge of the energy sector and financial valuation processes, including advanced modeling skills.
• Analytical thinking and a structured working approach.
• Proficiency in German (B2) and excellent English skills (C1).
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Paris or Brussels.
