Senior Manager - IMR

Job Description

Job Title: Senior Manager - IMR. Location: Perth, Australia. Employment Type: Full-time. Work Environment: Hybrid (onsite & remote) with required domestic, overseas, and offshore travel. Oceaneering is a global provider of engineered services & products, primarily for the offshore energy industry. We lead in ROV operations, offshore oilfield maintenance, and subsea hardware. Additionally, we apply technology across defense, aerospace, renewable energy, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop customer-focused IMR strategies tailored to regional needs, including vessel-based, platform-based, UWILD, or FPSO approaches.
  • Identify cost-effective methods, assets, and resources for IMR projects or contracts.
  • Execute contracts ensuring profit maximization & minimal risk exposure.
  • Collaborate with IMDS/SSR to innovate new IMR technologies & opportunities.
  • Promote IMR expertise & assets to existing and potential clients.
  • Build & nurture strong customer relationships across Asia Pacific.
  • Accurately forecast business performance (monthly, quarterly, annually).
  • Prepare & approve technical/commercial proposals & project budgets.
  • Oversee profit & loss of the IMR business unit in Asia Pacific.
  • Manage project scope, aligning with company objectives & mentoring project teams.
  • Ensure timely project operations, resolving any delays or downtime effectively.
  • Lead sales, marketing, and proposal activities related to IMR services.
  • Supervise Project Managers, Engineers, and Coordinators within the IMR unit.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Structural, Civil, or Ocean Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in ROV, Tooling, and Subsea Inspection operations.
  • Valid passport & ability to travel internationally (Asia Pacific focus).
  • Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC).
  • Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET).

  • Proficient in resource allocation, quality planning, & technical procedure development.
