Senior O+M Engineer

Job Description

Job Title: Senior O&M Engineer – Cost Modelling. Location: Tudor Street, London, EC4Y 0AH

Responsibilities:

• Develop OPEX models & WTG availability strategies for offshore wind projects in various development phases.
• Collaborate with O&M Package Leads & Growth teams to evaluate strategic choices, perform financial impact assessments, & deliver proactive cost recommendations.
• Review budgets, forecasts, & variance analyses to ensure compliance with best practices & procurement standards;
• Perform cost-benefit analyses & provide optimal logistic solutions while benchmarking against industry standards;
• Offer expert technical advice on bid strategies, risk levels, & commercial agreements for multi-million-pound, multi-disciplinary projects.
• Document technical assessments, ensuring compliance with legislation & internal procedures for health, safety, & environmental standards.
• Monitor emerging technologies to improve safety, reduce costs, & mitigate risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (relevant field) & extensive experience in Offshore Wind or Asset Management.
• Strong financial acumen with expertise in cost modeling & asset management business dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, & leadership skills with experience in managing stakeholders.
• IT proficiency, including MS Office & project management tools.
• In-depth knowledge of offshore procedures, standards, & guidance.
• Ability to manage complex workloads with high-quality output under tight deadlines.
