Job Description

Position: Senior Procurement Officer*

Responsibilities:

Proactively procure high-value goods & services.  

Ensure timely & cost-effective delivery of materials and services.  

Supervise in the Procurement Manager’s absence.

Requirements:

3+ years in a busy procurement office.  

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.  

Working towards CIPS qualification.  

Experience with high-value contracts and term contracts.  

Strong negotiation skills (telephone and face-to-face).  

Industrial/Utility sector experience.  

Ability to negotiate supply agreements.  

Skills in process improvement and automation.  

Effective communication & team player.

Benefits:  

Salary: £47,637 - £53,613.
