Service Technician

Job Description

Responsible for the service & maintenance of wind farms within the UK & Ireland, the Service department fosters an open, informal culture focused on teamwork & communication. Join an exciting industry with highly motivated employees.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed knowledge of wind turbines for daily maintenance & field service tasks.
• Adhere to the highest safety & environmental standards while meeting service targets.
• Conduct periodic service inspections per Vestas specifications.
• Perform component replacement (electrical & mechanical) & troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with technicians, supervisors, & office-based staff.

Qualifications:

• Proven background in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulics within a similar industry.
• Strong problem-solving & fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work at heights & in adverse weather conditions.
• Full, clean driving license.
• Previous accreditation as an AT/CT under WTSR is advantageous.
