Service Technician

Job Description

Responsible for the service & maintenance of wind farms within the UK & Ireland, the Service department fosters an open, informal culture focused on teamwork & communication. Join an exciting industry with highly motivated employees.

Responsibilities:

Develop detailed knowledge of wind turbines for daily maintenance & field service tasks.

Adhere to the highest safety & environmental standards while meeting service targets.

Conduct periodic service inspections per Vestas specifications.

Perform component replacement (electrical & mechanical) & troubleshooting.

Collaborate with technicians, supervisors, & office-based staff.

Qualifications:

Proven background in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulics within a similar industry.

Strong problem-solving & fault-finding skills.

Ability to work at heights & in adverse weather conditions.

Full, clean driving license.

Previous accreditation as an AT/CT under WTSR is advantageous.

Good verbal & written communication skills.

Commitment to the highest health & safety standards.

Computer literate with experience in software, apps, & related tools.
