Position: Service Technician  

Location: Edenderry, Ireland (with travel across UK & Ireland and occasional Europe travel)  

Sector: Wind Energy

Vestas Ireland is seeking a Service Technician with a background in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulics. Join a collaborative team dedicated to servicing and maintaining wind farms across the region.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance: Develop detailed knowledge of wind turbines for daily maintenance and field service tasks.

Safety & Standards: Adhere to safety and environmental standards while meeting service targets.

Service Inspections: Conduct periodic inspections and troubleshoot components (electrical and mechanical).

Teamwork: Work with technicians, supervisors, and office-based staff.

Qualifications:

Background: Experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulics within a similar industry.

Skills: Proven problem-solving and fault-finding skills.

Physical Requirements: Ability to work at height and in adverse weather conditions.

License: Full, clean driving license.

Advantageous: Previous accreditation as AT/CT under WTSR.
