Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager - R&D. Locations: Brande, Denmark | Skovlunde, Denmark. As a Project Manager within the Loads and Control System Module of our R&D department, you will play a crucial role in the technical and process-driven coordination of projects for new technologies and wind turbine product development. The team, consisting of around 10 highly skilled R&D project managers, is based in Brande and Skovlunde, Denmark.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Execution: Support project scoping and execution by aligning with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring projects meet defined requirements such as planning, budget, time, and functionality.
- Stakeholder Management: Ensure business success and customer satisfaction through effective stakeholder management, including making timely decisions on open issues and escalating as needed.
- Team Leadership: Lead project team members, promoting cooperation and efficient work practices.
- Technical Coordination: Manage a network of technical specialists to deliver customer-specific components, systems, or solutions. Coordinate Engineering tasks with regional units and manage technical risks, opportunities, and project governance activities.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: MSc degree in Wind Energy, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.
- Technical Expertise: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Turbine Control Systems and/or Aeroelastic Load Simulations, Design and Validation. Knowledge of Turbine Load Certification is beneficial.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, innovative thinking, and the ability to collaborate with a global team. Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a holistic view of projects.
- Travel: Willingness to travel internationally on an occasional basis.
