Job Description
Job Title: Structural Engineer. Location: Bangalore, Goldhill Supreme, India. As a Structural Engineer, you'll be responsible for planning, calculating, designing, and testing mechanical components and systems. Your work will focus on the structural integrity and optimization of wind turbine nacelle components and related systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design & Development: Develop and test mechanical components, create models, and perform tolerance analyses.
- Structural Assessments: Conduct structural assessments and suggest design changes based on results.
- FEA Modeling: Create and analyze FEA models using Ansys software.
- Documentation: Maintain technical product files and create documentation per certification requirements.
- Optimization: Upgrade designs, perform fatigue and buckling calculations, and optimize design solutions.
Requirements:
- Education: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 5-15 years, with at least 3 years in the wind industry preferred.
- Expertise in FEA calculations and Ansys software.
- Knowledge of structural design for large castings, welded structures, and forged components.
- Proficiency in 3D design software (NX preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
