Job Description
Job Title: Senior Business Developer, Onshore – Germany (Berlin, Essen, Hamburg, Potsdam, Regensburg). Join a team that drives the green transition by leading business development and M&A activities in Germany’s onshore wind, solar, and battery storage sectors. This role involves strategic partnerships, asset transactions, and market expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Lead business development and acquisition processes independently.
- Build & maintain relationships with partners, negotiating cooperation agreements.
- Conduct valuations, structure business cases, and manage transaction negotiations;
- Oversee due diligence processes & commercial term negotiations through closing.
- Prepare investment decision cases and assess project commercial viability.
- Monitor market developments & identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Strong commercial mindset with experience in the German renewable energy sector.
- Familiarity with M&A processes, valuation frameworks, and financial modeling.
- Ability to take initiative and work proactively;
- Excellent relationship-building skills, especially in cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in German & English at a negotiation level.
