Position: Regional Compliance Officer

Company: Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE)

The Regional Compliance Officer will work directly with SGRE stakeholders within the assigned region, acting as the primary compliance resource. This role involves measuring stakeholders' Compliance and Anti-Fraud programs, driving training and awareness initiatives, and providing guidance and support. The officer will ensure that all policies and controls are practical, efficient, workable, and meet SGRE policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, & maintain comprehensive safety programs & policies.

Conduct regular safety audits & inspections of the wind farm site.

Identify potential hazards & develop risk mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with all customer contracts, state, & local safety regulations.

Lead incident investigations to identify root causes & implement corrective actions.

Provide safety training & education to all employees & contractors.

Collaborate with site management to integrate safety into operational processes.

Maintain & analyze safety performance metrics & reports.

Participate in emergency response planning & drills.

Promote a culture of safety awareness & continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

5-7 years of work experience in the Renewable/Wind industry.

Diploma in Industrial Safety (mandatory).

Strong English written & verbal communication skills.

Flexibility to travel.
