Subsea Robotics- Remote Pilot

Job Description

Job title: Subsea Robotics - Remote Pilot Specialist. Location: Morgan City, Louisiana

Responsibilities:

• Operate remote ROV systems from the Onshore Remote Operations Center (OROC) to support offshore projects, drilling rigs, & vessels.
• Review procedures & collaborate with offshore teams, clients, & third-party SMEs to ensure efficient & safe operations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to PC, IT, hardware, & software, with remote support guidance.
• Work 12-hour shifts in a rotating schedule (4 weeks on / 2 weeks off);
• Provide assistance to other shore-based departments during periods of inactivity.
• Ensure adherence to safety, operational, & client guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore ROV operations.
• At least 2 years working with Oceaneering ROV systems.
• Strong piloting skills & ability to work under high-pressure, critical path situations.

Desired:

• Experience with dual ROV construction vessels, drill support, & completions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
