Job Description

This role supports sustainable practices and strategies for the organization under Corporate Compliance & Sustainability guidance. The primary goal is to reduce the company's environmental footprint and enhance social responsibility. Close collaboration with business segments is crucial for developing and executing sustainable initiatives, monitoring progress, and evaluating effectiveness. Candidates need a deep understanding of environmental issues, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainability strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Conduct environmental assessments and audits to enhance practices across multiple sites.

Guide business segments in integrating sustainability into operations.

Monitor energy, water, waste, and carbon emissions to track environmental performance.

Collaborate to implement sustainable solutions in energy efficiency, waste management, and supply chain optimization.

Stay informed about sustainability trends, regulations, and technologies.

Conduct training programs to promote sustainability among employees.

Prepare reports on sustainability progress for stakeholders and management.

Engage external stakeholders for sustainability partnerships.

Additional Responsibilities:

Advocate sustainability internally and externally.

Participate in governance meetings with Corporate Compliance & Sustainability.

Foster a transparent and collaborative work culture.

Mentor junior staff.

Perform other assigned duties.

Operate in accordance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Systems.

Promote environmentally friendly practices.

Reporting Relationship

Administered by an ITC Manager, with functional reporting to the Director of Sustainability.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.

Minimum eight years of relevant industry experience.

Minimum two years in a specialist or team-leading role.

Excellent understanding of sustainability and ESG principles.

Desired:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Familiarity with SASB & TCFD reporting standards.
