Transport Project Manager

Job Description

Job Title: : Transport Project Manager. Location: Vejle & Brande, Denmark

Responsibilities:

• Lead logistics workstreams in NPI/NPP projects, focusing on transport operations.
• Conduct material flow analysis, including mapping & handling components.
• Support warehouse layout development, space estimation, & building requirements.
• Develop scenarios & business cases to optimize logistics strategy;
• Oversee transport-related improvement projects & ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across internal & external teams;
• Lead the implementation of a new non-valuated plant, coordinating requirements & testing.
• Serve as Logistics Project Manager for future projects, ensuring seamless integration into existing operations.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics design, control, & improvement, with SAP knowledge;
• Background in Lean manufacturing, preferably in the wind industry or heavy components.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
• Strong communication & negotiation skills in English;
• Ability to work in international, multi-cultural teams across large organizations.
• Willing to travel 30-50 days per year during production start-ups.
• Project management experience is a plus.
