Job Description

Health & Safety Specialist. Location: Hamburg, Germany & Amsterdam, Netherlands. Job Type: Full-Time, Hybrid (Onsite & Remote). Join our Offshore German Windfarm Cluster Projects "Nordlicht" as a Health & Safety Specialist. This role supports EPC activities for offshore windfarm projects in the German North Sea, ensuring safety coordination among internal & external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Health & Safety Manager with resolving HS tasks.
• Manage large-scale HS contractor operations.
• Provide specialist HS advice aligning with laws, internal standards & best practices.
• Conduct audits, inspections & safety walks.
• Prepare HS documentation & reports.
• Support the Cultural Program for safety awareness.

Location & Travel

• Hybrid role based in Hamburg (Germany) or Amsterdam (Netherlands).
• Travel to offshore sites, vessels, & onshore locations (e.g., Eemshaven & Hamburg) is required.

Qualifications:

• Experience in HS roles within safety-heavy industries (offshore wind, renewable energy, or oil & gas).
• Expertise in HS contractor management.
• Certifications such as German SiGeKo, IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain GWO Basic Safety Training & HUET certifications.
• Strong communication skills in English; German proficiency is a plus.
• Collaborative & effective communicator with diverse groups.
• Strong problem-solving & innovation skills.
• Ability to navigate complex situations & prioritize effectively.
