Servicetechniker Wärmetechnik (m/w/d)

Job Description

Job Title: Servicetechniker Wärmetechnik (m/w/d). Location: Freiburg im Breisgau, Bundesrepublik Deutschland. We are looking for a Servicetechniker Wärmetechnik (m/w/d) for the pharmaceutical industry at our Freiburg site.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain heating/cooling water generation and distribution systems and their ancillary equipment (boilers, feed water treatment systems, steam distributors, fittings), including transporting and providing necessary consumables and spare parts on-site.
  • Suggest improvements for increased availability and reduced energy consumption.
  • Conduct and document control rounds.
  • Inspect and repair building facilities, fire doors, and powered doors.
  • Undertake small installation/modification projects under the supervision of the foreman.
  • Operate the building control technology (GLT) systems used on-site.
  • Perform on-call duties, accompany suppliers, subcontractors, and authorities on-site.
  • Carry out repairs on other systems, including sanitary installations.
  • Obtain supplier quotes for repairs and projects.
  • Report needs for chemicals (boiler house, cooling towers, process water systems) and process order requests.
  • Maintain plant documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Completed technical training as a maintenance mechanic, heating engineer, machine fitter, or in another metal processing profession.
  • Certified boiler operator qualification is advantageous.
  • Two years of relevant work experience in heating technology (with pellet systems) is preferred.
  • Knowledge in HVAC and/or electrical (EFK) is an advantage.
  • Driver's license required for on-call duty.
  • Knowledge of hardware for the GLT systems used is beneficial.
  • PC skills and proficiency with standard software packages.
