EHS Manager

Job Description

Job Title: EHS Manager – Manufacturing HSE-Blades. Location: Windsor, CO, US

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE) technical transfers between factories.
• Oversee consistent & efficient technology transfers across all facilities.
• Support HSE-related aspects of new product introductions (NPI) & technology transfer projects.
• Establish protocols for safety evaluations & HSE assurance during NPI processes;
• Collaborate with R&D & manufacturing teams to ensure alignment on HSE risks & controls;
• Ensure external factories comply with Vestas’ safety & environmental standards;
• Lead safety committees & governance structures as required.
• Provide assurance on risk assessments, safe work systems, & compliance during external operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of HSE experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Expertise in ISO certifications (ISO 45001, ISO 14001) & global HSE standards.
• Proven ability in technology transfers & new product introduction.
• Strong skills in risk assessment, problem-solving, & technical thinking.
• Ability to collaborate across global teams & travel internationally (30–60 days/year).
